Although it may seem like effective people are always busy, the truth is that they have mastered the art of focus. Many outstanding leaders start with why they do what they do. This book explains how these leaders are able to inspire others to take action.

Famous TED Talk speaker Simon Sinek asks why to understand what motivates great leaders. He believes that focusing on why is more inspiring than focusing on how or what. Customers also need to understand the motivation behind a product before they will purchase it.

Some people argue that this book could be shorter, or that the TED Talk is enough, but many people find inspiration from Sinek as he talks more about his initial idea. It’s important to never lose sight of why we’re doing something, even as we work hard every day.

I recently read a book called Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek. The book is all about why some teams pull together and others don’t. The book discusses how the best teams are the ones where the leader puts the team’s interests above their own. leaders who do this create a culture of trust and respect, which in turn leads to better results. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to improve their team’s performance.

Sinek became famous after giving a TED Talk. He then wanted to explore why some team members will go to great lengths for each other, while other teams are constantly fighting and lack trust.

The leader’s title and thesis come from a conversation the leader had with a Marine Corps general. The general explained that in his world, leaders eat last. Leaders who are willing to put their own comfort behind the needs of others are the ones who command loyalty.

The most successful organizations are built on trust between team members, something that is instilled by leaders who create a “Circle of Safety.” This is an important lesson for brokers and team leaders, but it’s something that can be applied to many aspects of life.
